The locality Barigau is part of the municipality of Oberhain. Apart from Barigau, Oberhain’s further constituents are the localities Unterhain and Mankenbach. The village of Barigau is located directly at the crest of the Barigau height. Embedded in the wavy central mountain landscape of the Thuringian slate mountains, the Barigau height with its 666 m above sea level is *the* landscape-coining item of the area. The lookout point Barigau tower offers wonderful of views of the Rinne valley, the romantic Schwarzatal and the Rennsteig region. |
